A consultation is a private, focused conversation designed to help you make sense of what is happening, identify what is not working, and determine practical next steps. Each consultation is shaped around your current situation, priorities and needs.
How does a consultation differ from therapy?
Consultation is focused on your current circumstances, practical challenges and the changes you want to make moving forward. It provides a space to talk honestly, gain perspective, identify patterns and explore practical ways to move forward.
Therapy is a clinical service provided by a qualified mental health professional and may involve assessment and treatment of mental health conditions or deeper exploration of psychological and emotional concerns. Three Pillar Living does not provide therapy or clinical mental health treatment.
What is the typical format of a consultation session?
Consultations are held online and are tailored to what you need to address. We begin by looking at what is happening now, what feels difficult or out of balance, and what you would like to change. From there, we work through the situation together, identify practical options and determine steps you can take from where you are.
How long are the sessions?
Typically, sessions are 45 minutes long. However, I can also offer shorter or longer sessions based on your specific needs.
What is your availability for coaching sessions?
I offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your busy lifestyle. We can schedule sessions during weekdays or weekends, in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
Please let me know your preferred time slots, and we'll work together to find a suitable time. Typically, consultation sessions are 45 minutes long. However, I can also offer shorter or longer sessions based on your specific needs.
What is your consultation style?
My approach is supportive, practical and honest. I listen carefully, ask questions that help you see the situation more clearly, and offer perspective where it is useful. The goal is not to tell you what to do, but to help you understand what is happening and make informed decisions about what comes next.
How can I be sure that a consultation is right for me?
A consultation may be useful if you feel overwhelmed, stuck, out of balance or unsure about what needs to change, but you are ready to look honestly at your situation and do something about it.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you come. Sometimes, knowing that something isn't working is the place to start.
